[VR-Zone]AMD Ships First "Interlagos" CPUs based on Bulldozer - Page 4

If bulldozer is as good as expected then surely we would have seen plenty of benchmarks by now??, Im looking forward to bulldozer to see some results, I cant help but think amd are hiding something?? if these cpus are really that good then releasing benchmarks would help increase sales

There was a rumour, xbit reported it as real news for some reason.

Feel sorry for anyone who bought the AM3+ socket motherboards for sure,i'd be well pissed.I just hope for you guys sake that the wait ends and that the wait was worth it.
imagine all the gossip and the waiting when fire making was 1st being practiced about 100,000 years ago

you might wait 20 years before someone actually did it in front of you, then a tiger eats them and you spend the next 10 years saying you saw some one actually do it, and everyone in your clan thinks your crazy

... Do you guys never learn ?
AMD usually doesn't release benchies before release, look at some cards in the 6xxx series.

I don't remember a single card having benches leaked prior to their launch. The only card we knew the performance of was the 6770, because it was a rebrand.

Perhaps but the question still remains...............

amd releasing bench teasers early = win, That is unless you have nothing to brag about

from the related article at vr-zone source, this quote is interesting?

Do note that Interlagos core clock will be at least 25% lower than then single-die server or desktop Bulldozers. There were rumours abounding of Bulldozer die issues reaching high clock speeds, but the lower clocked dual die version, where the total TDP needs to be managed, would be spared that problem. Therefore, no wonder this flavour comes out first. Let's hope we see the single die versions with faster clocks later this month as well
