I was just curious to see how at what sensitivity other pc gamers were playing at in fps games. It recently came to my attention that cm/360 provides the truest way to gauge how sensitive your games are.
The setup I used:
Set a ruler on top of my mouse pad and placed my mouse above it. Then I took a small rolled up piece of paper and taped it to the bottom of my mouse( the paper acted as a basic pointer for the ruler). From there I accurately calculated the distance my mouse had to travel to complete a full 360 in game (pick a point and spin 360 degrees till you come back to it).
Post template (or don't use it)
mouse:razer death adder 3.5g set at 990 cpi
mouse pad: steelseries sx(the expensive one)
cm/360: 10.6cm
I'm a beast in cod4 and I've found that the above sensitivity is high enough to quickly kill the noob trying to shoot me in the back while at the same time low enough to pull off those full map sniper kills.
