Can I ask a question, is there any correlation between display resolution and dpi?

So someone that uses 800x600 resolution and 400dpi 1.50sensitivity compared to someone with 1080p and alot higher dpi and ingame sensitivity could have same cm/360?

In shooters there's no correlation between screen resolution and mouse DPI. Using 400 DPI and 1.5 sens you will have the same cm/360 at any resolution.

Perception changes. There's more "grain" spacing between a larger gap of mouse and screen resolution. Just a personal thing I've found over the years playing with all sorts of play styles.

Edit : Funny thing.... those little things I could find on a right handed setup have no effect on me in terms of playing games with my dominant (left) hand.

If I change the DPI on my Zowie AM from 450dpi to 2300dpi there is enormous decrease in cm/360, if 450dpi is around 30cm/360 then 2300dpi is 10cm/360

He's talking about screen resolution.
