What model of mouse do you have ? rolleyes.gif

I have a Logitech Pilot Optical, not really good... the click isn't that responsive.

Otherwise it has a good shape. smile.gif

Fixed your post in the quote btw.

Then again which one to get? Theres a 1000DPI and a 800DPI version. Both are genuine.

If the 800DPI version has more prediction than the old G1 im not really interested anyway.

The 800 DPI version was the original~ They re-released the G1 with 1000 DPI later on.

APPENDIX II
About G1 Keyboard+Mice combos.
Logitech G1 combos including keyboard and mouse, the full name is Logitech G1 Gaming Desktop. The combos G1 mouse is 800 DPI. And the product box is much bigger size because of the keyboard. So If you have interesting to buy G1 combos, or only wanna buy combos G1 mouse, please let me know. I strongly suggest you choose G1 retail edition if you don’t need the keyboard.

check the very last picture. (enlarge it) Ignore the big yellow letters saying 1000dpi. See what the product specs say about DPI.

Hi All,

As it happened it is my birthday Today but also date that my close friend came back from China.
He brought me G100, that is now joinig my collection of MX300, G400 and Abyssus.
I'm happy bunny now, knowing this is not fake from ebay, but one that came from a computer shopping center.

I will test it very soon for max perfect control with mouse logger on various mouse pads and also with tape lift off fix. And for jitter on at least two DPI settings.

So far I played QuakeWorld and it felt almost as good as MX300.

I got one last week and love it. I took the weight out of mine and added some g100 corepad skatez. Like you said the shape is identical to the MX300, I have a glossy logitech g1 also but needed more than 1000 dpi. I get no visible jitter on my Artisan Hayate at 1450 dpi, which is what I was really worried about. The sensor may have it's issues, but it feels fine for Starcraft 2. Of course if I was playing more FPS the sensor would probably be my top priority. Right now I can't find anything better in terms of perfect shape and weight for RTS, I do have my eyes on that ESR mouse though.

Bought a bulk glossy G1(1000 DPI version) a few weeks ago, and I like it very much. Shape, feel, weight is just perfect on the G1. Was going to get a G100, but I had to go with the tried and true G1 that I had used in the past.

Bought the G1 from Ebay through a Korean seller that has 100% positive rating. I did check the G1 with Logitech setpoint software to verify authenticity, and it was authentic. It took eleven days from order to delivery to the US which is excellent just using the standard shipping.. Here is the link to the Ebay seller if you need a G1 or G100. He has bulk and sealed.

nlmiller0015 I never had one but it is confirmed that 800dpi has angle snapping. I don't consider this as a fault, but rather a cheat( QW with Lightning Gun ) as it helps with aiming and shaky hands.

Hi Skylit

I understand you had at least one version of G100. Have you noticed same jitter problem others did? Did you see side effects of it in games?

If I wanted to come with a comparison of G100 sensor to let's say near perfect sensor in a new version of G400. What resolutions should I choose for this test?
I'm thinking of three levels for low, medium and high sense players to determine usability for those group of players.

So let's say:
G400 - G100
low: 400 - 500
medium 800 - 1000
high - 1800 - 1750

Should i do horizontal lines, circles?

Regards,
SoboL
