I have an IDM Model M keyboard, (Old and Big =( ) and I want to change the Chassis of it to a smaller one and maybe more modern looking. I love the board But just not a huge fan of the way it looks and how big it is. So What I am asking is, does anyone think it is possible to just swap the board into a new Chassis?

Most likely you'd have to build your own. Also if you open up the model M i believe you have to bolt mod it cause you need to break some rivets.

It's not easy, that's for sure.


But I've seen people build wooden cases for keyboards.
