Need advice on ram installed in Asus P6X58D-E

as this mobo Asus P6X58D-E support triple channel. can i use 6 pcs dual channel ram on it? or it has to be triple channel ram?

3x Dual Channel Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX, Intel X.M.P, DDR3-1600, unbuffered DIMM, 8GB, 2x4GB, 9-9-9-27 @ 1.65V

2x Triple Channel Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K3/6GX,Intel X.M.P, DDR3-1600, non-ECC, unbuffered DIMM, 6GB, 3x2GB, 9-9-9-27 @ 1.65V

am very new to Overclocking.. pls advice..

The 3x Dual Channel Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX, Intel X.M.P, DDR3-1600, unbuffered DIMM, 8GB, 2x4GB, 9-9-9-27 @ 1.65V will work as triple in that set up .. will be expensive and do you need that much ram

The other option with two of 3x2Sticks (total 12sticks) will work in triple channel aswell.
But you don`t have 12slots!!!
Anyway, the 3x dual channel kit (total 6sticks) option looks much better since you dont want to have millions of RAM slots populated.
