As for a black spawn.... its coming!

Yep that worked. Thanks!

And the Black looks great though I think I need my 3500 DPI for Machine Guns. As long as CM makes great products and stands with their fanbase on problems and how to make things better, I will recommend their products to everyone I know. smile.gif

We are still working on this more than you know. We didnt release the spawn for months here in NA for a reason. We spent that entire time working on a f/w set I at the time felt suitable to hit the market. Unfortunately, it proved to hinder the perfect control speed in the end. We are working on a balance and better support for lower DPI settings. I still feel the sensor has the most potential of any on the market, and we plan to be the first to meet your expectations of a no-frills performance based mouse set, built around a flawless sensor, and shells too meet everyones grip expectations.

Yeah, I understand. I actually respect your company for trying to pioneer in an area most other manufacturers won't touch.

PS: What switches and encoder do the Xornet use? Official Weight? I would like to add it to the revised sticky if you don't mind.

Just out of curiosity what is the reasoning behind making the xornet? Its almost identical to the Spawn.

To quote Carter

"this is an inexpensive solution to the gaming market. The Xornet, utilizes the spawn shell, with black coating, the Avago 3050 sensor, less memory and lighter all @ MSRP of 29.99"

does the xornet comes with the same scroll wheel encoder as the spawn??

When you say that you feel its the best solution what do you mean? Just because of the higher DPI?

To add, Is it possible to release a firmware update with the mouse performing optimally on a steady bit axis across polling rates? I don't think people would generally mind the higher lift distance until you can come up with something.

I love my cm spawn, however recently it's started to lose the rubber coating. It started out as a small spot but since then its been growing. I assume its from sweat :\

What are the problems that people are finding with the Spawn. I remember it was one of the most praised mice pre launch but something about only 1 DPI setting working flawlessly or something.

Anyone?
