How to Test Mouse Buttons

Thread Starter
I have a Logitech G700 gaming mouse and I can't seem to get the G6 and G7 mouse buttons to work in Black Ops. I managed to get the G6 to work once and set it as my knifing button, but after closing the game and coming back the next day the setting was back to default and it wouldn't recognize the button.

I was wondering if my mouse is broken or if the game isn't compatible with those buttons and the one time it worked was a fluke.

Thanks is advance.

Try find a way in game mode, using a notepad to test your buttons.
Like ... alt-tab between game and notepad? windowed game?
Isn't there a test macro function in logitech software?
Could you set the game profile in the software instead actually open the game?
Hope this help wink.gif

You should just be able to set the buttons to anything using logitech setpoint driver software.

Set g6 as page forward and G7 as back page and check it via your browser.
