I'm still on 266.66 because of the folding downclocking issue.

I think any drivers past 266.58 are unstable for the 4XX series cards. All drivers ive tried past 266.58 give me BSOD's.

I'm having problems with 285.27 as well. 3D Vision won't work and it messed up my monitor's auto brightness control for whatever reason. Going back to 280.26

they have been just fine for me too. First nvidia driver complaint I have seen in a while. Normally it's ati complaints. Anyway, I also haven't upped my drivers in a while since many of the updates don't really include games that I am playing. When skyrim and battlefield 3 release, I will probably need to update the driver numerous times since they update numerous drivers with performance updates. God I hope those two games support triple monitors naturally. Hell, portal 2 does, I would think those two would. Anyway, good luck with the driver issue, hopefully nvidia fixes the issue you are having soon.

The only issue that I have with my drivers is that it makes my windows bootup logo skip in the process. Just annoying to watch. I noticed it stopped when I uninstalled, restarted, and updated my drivers a few months and began as soon as I put the drivers on.

Agreed. I didn't think it was possible but it is and I'm a believer now.

From that same link, anyone who has had problems with the new 280 family of drivers (including this new beta), please follow the steps in this link to properly upgrade your drivers:

http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=1174372

Yes, it is tedious. Yes, it is a pain in the arse. Yes, you *shouldn't* *have* to go through such hoops. Yes, I hear you on all of this. BUT, if you take the extra few minutes to do it right, you'll enjoy a nice stable release. It took me 15 minutes extra in total to follow step-by-step and so far everything has been playing great!

My issue with BF:BC2 in Surround using DX 10/11 with the non-clickable menu is FINALLY resolved without needing to use 266.58!

Ditto, even improved FPS by a few on all my games.

I do come from a loooong line of ATI - so I know that user experience may vary.

This.

This has already been stated in the ATI forums a lot. You don't have to update your drivers every time a new set comes out.

And the 266.xx set were always glitchy for everyone. If it's such a problem, instead of ranting about it, try the 275.33 WHQL set.
