I'm kinda liking 8 to be honest. I was looking at a couple touchscreen monitors and $280ish doesn't seem like a bad price for a 21.5" 1920x1080 monitor.

Is $280 really worth it to make use of the Metro UI on a desktop PC?

Win8 had a bit of funkiness with my Firefox rendering, actually, so I imagine the issue is that Win8's display driver coding isn't quite fixed or somesuch yet.

That's the conclusion I came too since I have folding problems and not getting full FPS in most benchmarks.

So I just installed the consumer preview on my netbook. I technically have 4 partitions: the system reserved partition, the recovery partition (for windows 7) that came with the netbook, a partition for the developer preview (which I shrank), and a new partition for the consumer preview.

I was planning on removing the developer preview and reinstalling windows 7 from the recovery partition, but I can't figure out how to boot to it. My boot device options are the hard drive and network boot, and when I boot to the hard drive, I get some kind of custom OS selection menu that I never had before. Am I dead in the water or can I boot to my recovery partition?
I just booted into windows 8 and double checked disk management, the recovery partition is still there.
