So I assume the dude who makes these is still around? I'm looking to get into phase maybe next year when Haswell-E gets released. I don't have the funds right now anyway since I transitioned to hi-res gaming and had to do a massive upgrade. However, I was wondering about the noise level. I know that noise tolerance is subjective but how audible is it when wearing (non noise-cancelling) headphones while gaming and when just doing regular tasks, listening to music, watching a movie or whatever?

Of course its pretty loud. But this LD-VC10 is much less dB than my earlier custom made Phase Change coolers.

If you put this case under a table and use headphones, then no worries.

I have my PC without side panels, distance > 1m on the table now and i use speakers. In my mind its not too loud when im gaming, it wont hear under gaming volume...70-85dB, of course when its silence time in game i notice sound.

If i put my Radeon 7950 (MSI Twin Frozr III) fans to 100%, it sounds about same level... so, in headphones, its not too loud. At least for me.
