The time has come! After much research, thought, and dedication, I have purchased my parts and am awaiting arrival! I want to give a special thanks to Intel and Corsair for their special pricing I received through their retail programs.

Also a HUGE thanks to all of those who helped me make decisions on my parts list when I posted a couple of months ago. Even those of you who didn't reply to my specific post, I read a lot of posts on the product I was going to buy and OCN has made a huge difference in the way my build is going to turn out. smile.gif

The first shipment arrived yesterday! It consisted of my motherboard, RAM, SSD, and optical drive. I already had the Processor, PSU, Corsair H60, and HDD. So I decided to put together an out of box build using my old HD4850. Heres what I came up with:

Debug Light during first POST - Sucessful! No issues smile.gif The G.Skill Sniper RAM 4GB x 2 (Very appealing!)
The other side - Corsair TX750 with a ton of wires dangeling everywhere (Should Have gone modular lol).
Top View - stock cooler - didn't want to mess around with trying to get the board + H60 RAD into the case at the same time when it arrives, so stock for now. 33C @ idle. Installing Windows 7 Pro x64 - only took ~15 minutes on my SSD so I'm happy. My room is a mess with empty boxes and wrappings everywhere! New Asus 1600x900 monitor, too.

Will update with new pics tonight, because my GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II has arrived!

Yeah, I'm excited to get mine smile.gif Did you have to add any fans to your setup or just keep the stock 3?

I'm eventually going to get 2x AP-15's, to keep everything cool.

My build is up and running! Going to update with pictures tomorrow. I think everything is running SLICK and looks good.

My idle temps right now are 26C with the H60 P/P stock TIM. smile.gif GPU is performing up to par, have not messed with an y OC'ing yet. Want to make sure everything is working fine stock.

Fans are kind of loud... but not bad. Something I can def. live with. Maybe I see a fan controller in my future. Well anyway, just thought I'd update, abnout 15 more pics coming in tomorrow.

EDIT: Alright a little update.... got everything up and running smoothly. The GPU is OC'd to about 1012 mhz core clock, with fans running at about 50% and running WoW dungeons, temps never go over 55C.

CPU still idles @ 26C and loads at about 47C ( NOT OC'd). Will probably not OC until the next week or two, want to make sure everything else is stable.

Not entirely impressed with the SSD. The boot times are decent, seek times are mediocre, and write times are nothing to brag about. Windows takes forver to shutdown (about 3-5 min.) and thats when its NOT applying updates! I saw a def. improvement over my old HDD, but I don't think it is up to par. Ive tried updating the BIOS, corsair firmware, and its running AHCI. I have not tried to wipe / format / and setup the alignment like the SSD thread on performance was suggesting. I think instead, I am going to return the corsair drive and go with a Crucial M4 either 64GB or 128GB, not sure yet.

Anyway, finished build pics on the way!
