No, I mean I'd rather they did major updates every few years with minor upgrades between then. Sucks when you buy something and it's like, this is the best thing in the world, then a few weeks later they announce something a lot better that will come next year. All it'll do is confuse your customers and keep people from buying stuff since they end up keep waiting. If they did major updates every few years then every year, we'd see a huge upgrades. Maybe that sounds a bit arrogant and selfish, but it makes more sense on their side. Only reason we're seeing smartphones advance so fast is because so much competition and such a huge market since 9/10 people you'll walk up to is going to have a smartphone.
TL;DR: Annoying seeing something so much better than what you just bought since it makes you want to wait and you end up waiting forever until you pull the trigger from getting impatient.
