Solving / Fixing BSOD 124 on sandybridge. READ OP FIRST!! - Page 11

Hey munaim... I just had the 124 while idle. I had C3 and C6 disabled and LLC on high. I just put C3 and C6 on auto. Should I put LLC on auto too?

Nope leave you LLC as that would affect your load vcore. If you're using manual voltage set C3 and C6 to auto and if that doesn't work enable them.

Did you manage to download the driver?

Downloading now. You know what, I just had a thought. Ever since I installed the 280.26 I've been having this issue. I was on 266.66 before and it was smooth as butter. I would be willing to bet that the GPU drivers are the issue.
Do I need to Driver Sweep or will the installer take care of it for me?

lol well there you go!!!

Hopefully that does the trick, nope you don't need driver sweeper, just make sure you check the clean install box when installing your drivers.

Like so:

Hope that helps

Hard to say until you actually do it, but if I was to guess I would say 1.390/1.395v could get you to 4.8ghz.

No problem, I'll gladly help you out, be sure to post any problems you have in the Sandy Stable thread

I'll be sure to post there. Meanwhile the BSOD corrupted the download. I need a good download manager...

Csn may I ask what ur pll is set at? I'm testing 1.6 so far so good. Hopefully lowering pll will let me lower vcore from 1 44 to like 1.4?
