Why would I do that? I would much rather have a 460 or a 560 instead of my 6870.

i seem to be running ok now

using GPUtracker V2

im using the -advmethods tag on both GPU`s and CPU

my 8800GTS is doing WU`s worth 353+-points and compleating them in
under 1hour and 50mins

8500GT same WU`s as 8800gts @ 353-points but takes 2-3x as long to compleat them but now under 12-24 hours.
cpu single core client doing 937+ point WU`s altho taking a long time to complete
CPU SMP doing 5xx point WU`s takes 6-9 hours to complete.

im going to stop folding on CPU-single&smp takes to long to actualy put the points up

my 8800GTS is putting up around 353-5xx points every 2 hours so thats ok
8500GT is putting up around 353-5xx points up every 4-6 hours maybe longer

cant wait untill i get my dell power-edge 1600SC server 2x quad core intel xions FTW

I really can't decide if -bigadv is worth it or not. I don't fold 20/7.
Right now I just have it on V7 with advance setting on.I had it a 5+ credits last night. But woke up to a black screen and everything off.So after I finish this one Ill recheck my setting and try to get more credit.Haven't tried -bigadv yet but might look into it,

Hmmmm I just set-up v7 with all that fancy jazz and my GPU is running ~6-7C cooler per core. Shifty.

My 2600k is sticking around 76c for the past few hours, I might have to stop for a while. Hopefully the new exhaust fan in the back for my case I just ordered helps my temps. I'm not too worried but supposedly 72.x degrees C is the recommended max by intel?

You are getting 72C on your 2600K with a D14?

Intel's whitesheet says that the 95W package should remain below 72.6C for extended periods of loading.

What voltage are you running it at to reach those temps? Personally, I won't run anything higher than 1.4V since some people have reported IMC degradation at 1.4V+. That's just me though.
