I have moved my bigadv WU to Linux Mint 11 after realizing that the TPF on my WU was about an hour. It is now around 30 minuets but I need help getting my Geforce 440 to fold under Linux. Do you guys know of any guides out there? I was born and raised on UNIX so you don't have to filter out the technical guides.

I dont think the drivers let you or something, most people who gpu fold while smp folding, smp fold in linux on a virtual machine, and gpu fold in windows.... That is what I gathered any ways, someone correct me if I am wrong.

Use the gpu3 guide to fold that 440 in linux. The only reason to fold a gpu in windows and amp in a vm is if you have a 5k or 6k ati card which requires the v7 client to do advanced WUs.

Swyped from my Gingerbread house.

If your folding for bigadv on your 1090t then you definitely don't want to be folding with a GPU on the same rig. The added CPU cost of the gpu client will probably make the CPU too slow to complete bigadv. A 440 is definitely not fast enough to make up what the CPU will lose either.
