I am having trouble getting Max Payne 2 to install on windows 7. When I click to play it say's 'Max Payne 2 requires a Microsoft DirectX9.0 compatible display adapter'. Obviously my computer greatly exceeds the requirements. Does anyone have advice to help make it run? Thanks

Update all drivers. Update DirectX, if not up to date. Also, try rightclicking the .exe file in the max payne directory, go to properties->compatibility->run this program in compatibility mode. Select windows xp or even 98/ME.
