Those are some Uber powerful TECs. Must be about 600W or so for Power Consumption at max power. Need to find a Voltage vs Current vs Qmax chart.

CTE's 50mm 331Qmax TEC has 263 peltier element, and this one has 288 with unknown quality... I still think CTE's better, unless somebody buys one and tests smile.gif

EDIT:D
Does anyone know of a company that will CNC something like this as a one off project? International doesn't matter as long as they are willing to ship it without ridiculous added costs.

The ones I've tried contacting so far either don't respond at all or only deal with large numbers.

machining gets ridiculously expensive fast. But you want to look for a shop that specializes in prototyping. those are the only ones who deal with small numbers. That being said, that design doesnt really need CNC, that could easily be done on a bridgeport, so if one of your friends has one of those you could do it on that. (a lot of what cncs cost is the programming time).

Something you could also do is (if you've got one) ask a local university - sometimes there's coursework that needs done and projects like that can be done by students.
