RAM running at low speed!

Hello everyone- just been running Speccy on my new build. It looks like my RAM is running at 668 MHz.

Here is the RAM I bought: [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9-1600MHz-Vengeance-Memory/dp/B004CRSM4I/ref=pd_sxp_grid_i_1_1"]Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Two Module Kit: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories[/ame]

How do I get it running at 1600 MHz?! Running on an ASUS Crosshair IV Formula motherboard, shouldn't expect any problems.

Thanks in advance.

And yes, I have both RAM sticks slotted in the same coloured slots on the motherboard. However, due to the size of my CPU heatsink, slot #1 is unavailable, so my two sticks are in slots #2 and #4.

~668MHz = 1333MHz effective.

You double the clock since it is DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM... it does two transaction per single clock cycle.

The native controller is probably defaulted to run the RAM a 1333MHz. You either change the RAM multiplier or increase the clock generator in the motherboard BIOS.
Once again...
