Alienware Aurora R3 i7 2600k + GTX 580 --- $773 Shipped! - Page 4

Also doesn't say what kind of PSU it has. Depending on that and the motherboard you could do some nice upgrades to it later. Adding a second card to that would make it killer!

At stock speeds for that price, though, its a fantastic deal.

Is the Aurora mATX?

If so get a Maximus IV Gene.

I think it's ATX from the looks of it. It's a big machine.

You could be correct:

looks mATX to me.

They do make their own mobos, but they're not too bad. Sometimes the bios can suck, but I have an ATX mobo from an older XPS running in a brand new case with new hardware (not sig rig) and it does fine.

According to this forums they can be over clocked and they are indeed 2600k!!!

dude fricken awesome deal!! also noticed blackbalt advised you to get the Maximus Gene Z, great advice. even if the case is full ATX, getting the full blown Maximus will be a complete waste of money if you're not going to sun SLI. the Gene Z is more capable then you might think, coz i have one if the case can house atleast two 120mm rad, the board will walk you through 5GHz and above. but the case is mATX but that won't be a burden at all coz the Gene Z is there if you need more oomph

have fun
