Hello am new to the forums and overclock1 month ago i bought my new gaming system:
i7 2600k
8gb ram corsair vengeance 1600mhz
asus p8z68
coolermaster silent pro M 1000 watts 80+ gold
2x radeons 6950 in crossfire
i just installed my new thermaltake frio cooler and overclocked the cpu to 4.2 ghz i ran prime 95 for 4 hours all good i manually set the vcore to 1.2
my question is that am reading the VID in core temp and is in 1.356 i know vcore is not the same as vid but am not sure what vid does i read the voltage in cpu-Z and is 1.19 so does in aida 64 .
in aida 64 reads 1.356 VID to so am kinda worry cause i dont know exactly if that is safe
my temps are so good after 4 hours prime 95 max load temps where 54C in the highest core(HT enabled), plz someone can help me with this.. thx
