I am too man! my professor was beginning to hate talking to me I think because every time he did I either needed more parts or was telling him something was wrong, haha.

and I definitely would like to check them out at some point, but I am probably not going to be able to afford a new build till whatever comes after Ivy bridge...

You do realize there are two problems with these measurements, right?

1: You're reading losses of the AC PSU

2: VA and Watts are the same value in DC circuits(like when this rig is installed and connected to aforementioned "jet-ski battery")

Basically, neither of those readings mean anything unless you know the exact efficiency of that AC PSU at any given load and even then it's still a guess.
