Oh, it would. I didn't realize you had altered the BCLCK

It definitely contributes to stability problems. Set it back to 100. Get your overclock stable before you even consider changing the BCLK. You can in general only increase the BCLK by a very small amount before it becomes unstable. I don't think it's worth the hassle, but if you want to eke out the last possible speed increase, then people do change it.

This is a reasonable voltage. I need 1.352 for 4.6Ghz. I'd suggest using LinX AVX version to test as you're likely to get a quicker fail.

I enabled the Teaming feature of this Fatal1ty board. Seems like the feature is working. I got 2 Gbps of link status but when I opened my browser, it takes awhile for a web page to show up. At the left bottom of the web page there's a message that says "resolving proxy" before I can see the web page. Any idea what this means?

does it do the same thing in different browsers?

EDIT:
Wait, it says your IP address is "0.0.0.0" Is your router setup for DHCP? It should be by default unless you messed with it.

I tried enabling the Teaming feature again this morning. Seems like it only needs a reboot. After I've rebooted my PC, the Teaming feature works perfectly.

After I have it working. Tried to reboot my PC once again to see if it will automatically works & I don't have to set anything & it did.

Teaming does work on this Fatal1ty mobo.

I haven't altered the BCLK. It was set to factory defaults on the mobo on auto, which lowers it to 99.8.

With 99.8, it's somewhat stable at 51 multiplier (somewhat= for some quick becnhmarks). At 100 it freezes instantly.

I'm not trying to sit at 5 GHz 24/7, i'm more than happy with my 4,6 @ 1.28 Volts. All i am trying to do is push it as far as it can go for some quick benches.

hello guys! I joined the forum because of this thread specifically. lol.

I have been reading for the past couple of days and you guys have a truly great piece of hardware.

I just finished assembling my machine. Hoping to overclock my 2500k to 4.5 stable. What recommendations can you give me? At least, where should I start?

Thank you.

*EDIT: Forgot to ask, would you recommend the auto overclocking feature of Fatal1ty?

*UPDATE: I used Fatal1ty's auto overclock and I have had it set to 4.8 GHZ. so far, i have it running stable for 3 hours now. temp minimum is @ 26 C while maximum is 83 C.

~Another quick question, is 83 C considered "safe" temp for the proc? I have Corsair H60 as my cooler.

Hello there and welcome to OCN!

83c is a little high for a 24/7 overclock. Typically most people advise to stay around 75c. While the SB chips can operate higher it will shorten the lifespan of your chip.

I don't usually advise going with auto overclocking...and with manually setting everything you may actually be able to drop your temperatures

This guide here is excellent: http://www.overclock.net/intel-gener...uide-p67a.html

EDIT: Actually use this guide http://www.techradar.com/news/comput...tel-z68-998087
