Ok, I got it. On the bottom right corner of the MOBO I have another 4 pin connector for the case fan and it's also a 4 pin PWM connector. smile.gif

Quick question, which vga driver i have to download?
there are 2 vga drivers in the website, both or just one of them? (http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=Fatal1ty%20Z68%20Professional%20Gen3&o=Win764)
my bios ver is 2.20 with core i7 2600k sandy bridge cpu
another question, are the listed drivers for this mobo at asrock's website are up to date?

The first driver is the updated one, based on their website. The second one is good for 3rd gen processor or Ivy Bridge. This board is good for a dedicated videocard. And it is highly recommended to use a dedicated GPU with this mobo. You don't have to install the vga driver from the site if you are using dedicated GPU. thumb.gif

I just added an MSI GTX670 in addition to me EVGA GTX670 for a SLI set up. On first boot my bios gives me a warning that it is reverting back to defaults. Any idea why this would happen?

Hello.

Awesome motherbard that have been working 24/7 for 3 years or more! No other MB I used have even been close to this... running it as a server using a NZXT Phantom case with 7 fans and a Corsair Hydro H100i for cooling. Using all four fans for max cooling (2 120mm corsair and 2 200mm NZXT). Running Windows 7 Enterprise.

Now the question... I want to use Bitlocker but this motherboard does not support TPM... right!? Is it possible to buy a TPM-module or do I just have to run Bitlocker without TPM?

I have googled but found no real good answer so I am asking you guys instead, the professionals. thumb.gif

General question... if TPM is not supported at all on this mobo what kind of system drive encryption software do you recomene? I already use Truecrypt for usb drives but when I mentioned that I was planning to encrypt my whole drive with Truecryot to a friend he laughed out loud... wink.gif He is a linux-geek so thats probably why.... redface.gif

Thanks for any help and suggestion. I dont care if the encryption software is commercial, I just needs to be strong and a bonus if USB boot is an option. (not with truecrypt)
Bestcrypt by Jetico seems so far as the best solution. And btw, I am NOT running uefi and all that.. just plain legacy.

Thanks,
Marc

Question about the Sli bridge. I recently lost the one that came in the box when I moved. Does anyone know the exact measurements of it? I'm assuming its a 60mm but dont want to waste time shipping the wrong length of sli bridge. Thanks
post #518 of 522
The SLI bridge is 70mm long.

Anyone know which EK bridge will work with this mobo? Their cooling configuration list never seems to work for me!
