Got the Twin Turbo 2 installed on my card

Ok got it installed today. First off its dead quiet at pretty much any fan speed. Install was easy. I set my fan speed to 30% and it seems to idle at 32 which is fantastic. I played BC2 for a bit and load was around 53. Another excellent result. It seems a bit bigger than the twin turbo pro, taller anyway. Very very nice cooler. Although I think the price could be a bit lower, something like $49.99 would be great.

looking good, better design than older AC models.

can you tell vreg temp in furmark?

i have twin turbo pro (from pics i see heatsinks are same) and i found that AC's vreg heatsink much worse than asus stock, with AC's vreg heatsink vreg temp maxed above 100c and with stock vreg heatsink it maxes at about 80c

It bugs me when companies use "Turbo" or "Supercharged" to simply mean "Fan" or "Fast"... just a pet peeve of mine.

Very nice, though

Actually the pictures their are old. I took the memory heatsinks off and the vrms ones as well. Alot of people I spoke with here said they are not really needed if you have good airflow which I do. I played BC2 last night for about 2 hours not one problem. I didn't like the look of the heatsinks and vrms sinks on it. I thought it looked too ghetto.

Did you have an EVGA reference card or did you have one of their revised models with the fan in the center?
OP I would at least keep the VRM heatsinks on. Especially with the potential issues the 570s had with VRMs acting up. I would keep them cool and happy if I were you.

Sigrig says 570HD which is the center fan.

I've never seen an aftermarket cooler with a full shroud like that. What direction is the airflow? I just got an EVGA 560ti and I love the performance, but the noise is sucking my will to live. Response to an old thread..sorry. Getting desperate.

Very nice, though thumb.gif

It's not a marketing tactic, if you know how they work on cars it makes perfect sense.

I guess you could say its targeted towards car enthusiasts as well as computer enthusiasts, both of which I am so these products appeal to me.
