I use to have a Gtx 465 oc'ed to Gtx 470 clocks and after switching from Amd 1050T 4.0ghz to Intel i5 2500k 4.5ghz, I saw a good fps difference with WoW.

The i5...

Well, it kills that 1090T. It kills it by a margin you would not believe.

Put it this way, I run a PhenomII X4 @ 4.4GHz with Corssfire 6950s. I get roughly 80-120FPS as an average in BFBC2.

My mate who just brought an i5 runs that @ 3.3GHz (so stock) with a GTX580. He gets an average of 150-200FPS on BFBC2 at the same settings.

I should kill that GTX580 with my 6950s (and they're slightly OC'd) but I don't. I get left in the dust due to this stupidly slow AMD bottleneck.

What is that bottleneck? I am just curious as to why there is such a difference between the CPUs.
