The fans look like NBs. Hopefully they are good ones because it looks like your stuck with them unless you just cut out the frames of your own fans.

Can't wait, none the less!

The cable seems to be some random one coming from behind the mobo. But the heatshrink makes it look like it could be connected to a fan bus or something. Not really a obvious place for a fan cable considering how the fans are installed.

That fan grill is hideous. Not very minimalistic at all.

Charles does it again, honestly you have to have seen his worklog in order to fully appreciate the first murderbox.

he doesn't skip on ANYTHING, hes very meticulous on his builds, to the point of certain tools he uses you've probably never even heard of.

So haters going to hate because deep down your just envious of his amazing talent vs your shoddy garage painted, hack-of-a-job sleeving mods.

Do you have a link to the first Murdermod worklog from him?

But seriously. Murdermod was the very reason I even moved from my Mac to a custom built PC rig years ago. And now their new chassis will be hitting the web within the next couple of weeks.

Murdermod has been such an inspiration to so many, I can see how others would share my excitement. And the MKII is much prettier than Justin Beiber! tongue.gif

Call me crazy, but a case seems like a bad reason for choosing a particular OS or set of hardware.

He was inspired by the creativity/freedom that can be achieved with a custom built PC.

windows came naturally because using OSX would be illegal and linux is quite unconventional for the average user. Don't see what's wrong with this.

Of course people will hate on here because it's a niche market. They don't realize that because they don't fit that market.

Hi Guys. smile.gif

On behalf of the Team, I'd like to thank those here who have taken the time to voice your support and enthusiasm for what we're doing; it's very much appreciated.

To those who've been frustrated by the recent weekly splash page images on our website - it was never our intention to tease anyone with these images; we were only trying to show some of what we had while we worked on completing the parts still in development. Like on all fronts, lesson learned. smile.gif

We know that what we're creating is not for everyone. Our goal is to create and offer products that we believe will be for a very specific segment of the market. We also believe that people interested in products in this narrow segment understand that they take time to create and the process cannot be rushed or hastened just to get them finished.

The goal with the MKII and new murderbox line is to do our absolute best and not settle for less. When we started, we had no idea it would take this long but as we progressed, we've remained committed to our "no compromise" conviction; all the while being aware that some were growing impatient because of how long the process was taking . In hindsight, we would have not given any proposed timeline for the new line as we're acutely mindful of the effects that the delays have caused and regret that. What I offer in a modest attempt at conciliation is that next time, we'll know better.

We're deeply passionate about what we're doing - this is truly a labor of love for us and we're grateful for the support we get. As we draw closer to completing our work, I just wanted to take a moment to express my thoughts and personally extend my gratitude to those of you that cheer us on and offer words of encouragement; it really helps!
