there's skill involved , sure , ill give ya that , but charging more than 1k for the case alone , isnt worth it (my opinion)

I have to agree. I can appreciate the styling of the case, but perhaps I just don't have enough fabrication knowledge to appreciate the $1000+ price tag. However, far be it from me to chide others on how to spend their money. Cost is relative.

The original was $1000+ and when it came out, IMHO there was no other case on the market that even came close to how clean the MM looked. Charles even said this time it will be a lot more affordable. I don't doubt it will still cost more than a $300+ "high end" case you can get online or in-store though, but obviously it will be for a good reason smile.gif.

Not gonna lie though, I'm not big on those fans on top. Hopefully there is another top option to choose from. Whatever tubing that is, and the perfect bends, it all made me a bit hot and bothered wubsmiley.gif.

The top fans are removable/interchangeable.

I'll admit, murdermod does great work, but I bet I can take a good shot of just about any low grade case and make it look cool and artistic too.

Sheesh, harsh, I'm guessing the post has been updated since when you commented since there's an entire gallery of pictures now. It looks crazy efficient with all the fans and useful ports, but it's meh on design, I'd give it a 6.5/10.

No, you can't because at the end of the day, it will still be just a "low grade case." Silverstone has manufactured the new MKII case according to Charles' specifications. Obviously, this isn't some "low grade case." It's some serious stuff. Have you ever seen a stock TJ07 in person and compared it to what it is now (the MKII)?

After all the time I've taken with customizations on my current TJ07/3960X/Rampage IV build, I have a deep, profound appreciation for Charles' work. You have no idea until you've attempted the task.

Perfection isn't perfect enough for the Murderbox team. Their work is just sex. Period.

lol Silverstone works on earth u know? , with the same techniques for bend/pressing/break as other companies do ..... in fact , from the same fabric comes diferent components for different designs for diferent companies ... Silverstone is just a brand with some designs dude ... not jesus

sure , their cases are quality and all , but its still a mass produced case , and a murdermod is just a modded TJ07 , NXTZ got the phantom design from the modding comunity btw look it up , its not a modded design made mass produced(not sayin mkII is gonna be mass produced but made by a big corp with all the industry equipment , capable of mass production

and just because is thick aluminum , doesnt mean is high quality lol

Some people just don't get it. That's the sad thing. They can't appreciate the hundreds (maybe even thousands) of hours spent designing, testing, re-designing, testing, etc. etc.

There are so many little details on the chassis that it takes quite some time to even see them all and understand them. Not to mention, Charles has Callen and Janik, two of the greatest on his team. All three of them have put more effort into this chassis than what's ever been done before.

Trying to explain to the people who don't understand just won't work. It's been shown throughout the thread. I think, as long as you know, then be happy you can appreciate all of the work and features the chassis itself has.

Perfect example of someone who doesn't know what they're talking about:

Actually, if you've ever read ANY Apple thread here on OCN, you'd know that I'm one of the few who isn't on the Apple hating bandwagon.
