Agree - it floats my boat! I got bored looking at the hunk o' rectangle. It's a bit like modern art you either love it or hate it. I am sure in a year or so I will find another "killer" case to use. Or may progress to making my own "out there" set up.

Took the time today to find a way to hide or cleanup the interior of the case a bit. Also ordered some more pre-wired LEDs for various locations. I decided I would use some 1/4" white acrylic to box out or cover areas that show the ugly bits (back of the 5.25" drive bay and the top and leads coming from the power supply. Doing some cutting and fitting over the weekend and should have the interior cleaned up by next week. I had hoped to have this thing running by now, but keep making changes/additions to the box every time I look at it!

I think with the acrylic covers the interior will look very clean and tidy. Pics to follow! Also, after reading more in-depth on cable sleeving I am completely redoing my original ***** sleeving job. I was wondering why they looked so crappy. Oh well, more stuff to order and wait for . . . .

GAH! Over $200 on sleeving. I better do a good job . . . Anyone know how long it takes to get MDPC sleeving to California? I need to do some finger exercises between now and then.

PERFECT! One of my pumps just failed while I was running it to test for leakage over the weekend (system is at my office and I planned on leaving it running until Monday.) RMA to Koolance for replacement or repair. SUCKS! I suppose it is ok in the grand scheme of things since I am now waiting on additional bits to clean up the inside - acrylic, some aluminum mesh, and the oh so pretty MDPC sleeving.

I keep coming up with ideas I want to try. Oh well, I suppose I should view this as "it's the journey, not the destination" type of project for now. I know it will be pretty once I get it finished!

Just bought the Snow edition of this

I'm loving the looks, just starting the build now, I have a xspc rasa 240 kit but I don't feel like the cooling from the rs240 rad is enough...do you think the upgrade to the blackice is worth it? I was thinking about waiting for the new EX rads from XSPC but there is no ETA on it

VERY COOL! Glad to see someone else doing this as well. To be honest I have no idea how well this will cool since I have had one nightmare after another with cooling parts. I would be surprised if 240 wasn't enough to cool my rig since I am not going to be insane with the overclock (I had it at 4.7 on air when I was waiting for water parts.)

I agree on the RAD issue - the only option is to go external and make a housing for 360 or larger. You could make a sweet acrylic base for this that would fit larger RADs or some other setup. I really don't have experience with the others you mentioned in your post so I couldn't give an informed answer to how well those would do over any other RAD. I went blackice mainly off of reviews of the product.

For now, I am on a complete shutdown waiting on sleeving, finishing the interior with acrylic/mesh, and the return of my broken water pump. All of which will delay me at least two weeks before I can fire this thing up again. I plan on doing better step by step shots of the interior mods as I get to them (vid card cover, PSU cover, 5.25 bay cover, painting, sleeving.) Can't wait to get all my parts in!

Just started to put things together, luckily no issues so far! I'm probably going to get a new 240 rad, as well as a 120 to place on the bottom. Right now I'm at a 4.8 overclock easily but the temps are a little high for my taste so hopefully the new rads will fix that.

I forgot to ask about your experience with the GPU-210, is it worth it? Or do you think I should get some other universal gpu block (no full blocks for my cards).

I'm way to disorganized to make a build log, my impatience doesn't help either! I can't wait to see all of the covers that you're making, I might do the same especially the PSU cover.

I like to GPU-220 as far as it goes. I am in the same boat since I opted for cheaper cards waiting till Q2/2012 for the new Kepler cards (which will blow away anything we have now.) As far as temps go, I couldn't tell you yet. I expect they will be fine and would be surprised if they were higher than air even with a 120.

I'm gonna be ordering a universal gpu block, haven't decided yet...it's between the GPU-220 and the EK block... I may switch out the sidepanel 200 for a higher cfm fan so to cool the GPU vrm since the block doesn't cover them
