Here is my tests (kill a watt):

3930K @ 4.8GHz @ 1.49V (CPUz) . P9X79 Deluxe . (4) 1.65V Memory . 1 HD6950 unlocked @ 880MHz . 4 HDD . 1 Optical Drive . (5) ~5W Fans . D5 Pump . Rosewill Lightning 1000W @ >87%, Up to 92% Eff.

Idle: 188 Watts. -> 89% = 167.3W
Prime95 blend Only : 485 Watts. -> 89% = 431.7W
Furmark Only : 385 Watts. -> 89% = 342.7W
Prime95 and Furmark : 635 Watts. -> 89% = 565.2W
Game (NBA 2K11) : 378 Watts. -> 89% = 336.4W

I agree, its a wealth of real world information. If I had a kill-a-watt I would definitely contribute, but I do not have one.

Which efficiency % should we use for this? It varies depending on loads (and country - that should really be taken into consideration as well... 120V vs 240V etc.) Just take the rated efficiency and average it?
