ASRock M3A770DE and Patriot Viper Extreme PX538G2000ELK

Hi,
I'm new to this thread, at least in posting. I've been reading for a while now. I recently purchased the Patriot Viper Extreme PX538G2000ELK to upgrade my memory from the 4 GB I originally purchased. I hooked up the 4x4 GB sticks but wasn't able to get them running to their full capacity. Can anyone give me any help on trying to figure this out? Any extra information that is needed, please let me know.

Are you running both sets of sticks?
The new sticks run at the capacity as the old ones,
Ram always runs as slow as the lowest capacity ones.

I purchased 2 sets of the new memory and yes I'm running Windows 7 x64. All 16GB are showing up, they just aren't showing to the right speed.

A quick update, I returned this memory and purchased
"Corsair Vengeance Blue 16 GB PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit for Intel and AMD Platforms CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B".
I will have to wait till it arrives.
