BF3 beta doesn't support crossfire yet. It's only doing so on the preview 10.11 driver side as far as I know.

I just tried it with the new 11.10 preview drivers. I must say that performance is reminiscent of a game that lacks a crossfire application profile. With ultra settings in 1080p eyefinity(5760x1080), I averaged around 50fps, and looking at the ground netted me 108 fps. I have seen a similar setup claim to have way better performance at the same resolution. At 1080P (single monitor) I average approximately 160fps outside at ultra settings, and yes I am overclocked (only a mild 950/1450 though). My suspicion echos what was very recently posted above me, that crossfire isnt really working yet... the fact that I pull the same framerate as the person I quoted who has only one HD6990 seems to confirm this.

I ended up putting textures on high and everything else on medium with 8x anisotropic filtering and no AA and got 45 fps indoors and 30-35 fps outdoors. And guys. I'm happy with 40 fps just as long as it's stable.

Allright, I've tested eyefinity on 5040x1050 today.

I was using AMD 11.8 driver.
CPU i7 920 @ 3.8 ghz (8 threats)
GPU 5970 @ 1.227v core - 1000/1315
Resolution: 5040x1050

GPU1 Memory Usage was 1750~ish.
Temps sub 50 celcius

FPS:

Low Settings, on the map Operation Métro (5040x1050):
On the grass area 63-70~ish FPS.
(Which means 100+ probably on the subway area)

Medium Settings
On the grass area 53-60~ish FPS. (so basically -10 from low settings).
(Which means 90+ probably on the subway area)

I didn't feel microstutter at all, felt quite smooth.

Only I sometimes saw a very short green flash (like 1 frame) and some shaders near windows etc were flashing/bugging a bit.

I felt like OC-ing my CPU/GPU also made an immense difference, felt like 30%~ish extra FPS

Tested now in 1680x1050 instead of 5040x1050

Low Settings (outside) 3.8 ghz 8 threats i7 920 - 1000/1315 gpu):
140-200 FPS outdoor

Medium Settings (outside on the grass):
135-190 FPS

Ultra Settings (outside on grass also):
100+ FPS

I'm having weird problems with my setup. 1 out of 8 games i will run so called ultra settings and 4xAA at a solid 50fps at 5256x1050 and then everyother game will play a 10fps and crazy stuttering with graphical glitches. Doesn't matter if i lower settings the only thing that works is if i change over to one screen. It's weird.....any ideas. i'm running 11.10
