Most durable gaming mouse?

Thread Starter
I had a problem with my current mouse which is the Razer DeathAdder 3200DPI. When I click once, sometimes, it double clicks and it's very irritating. This is my 2nd DeathAdder because the last one had this problem too and Razer sent me a brand new mice straight from the factory and once again the problem occurs after 11 months

So now, I'm looking for a gaming mouse that is worth buying and that will last for at least 1 1/2 year.. I'm not rich, its hard to earn money here in my country so I don't want to waste throwing money in a thing that will not serve me well.

I think I will avoid Razer for now because most of their stuffs (that I own) doesn't really last.

I have a Razer Black Widow Ultimate and had one of its LED died.
I have a Razer Orca headphone and the right can died.
I have a Razer Lycosa Mirror and its WASD light mode doesn't light up anymore.

so....

Razer really sucks in quality. At first I was very impressed on how cool their products are.

So guys, please help me find a new mouse that will really last.

Thanks.

I haven't had any problems with Razer though I only own two of their products. I have their arctosa keyboard that still works well and lasted me quite some time now. I also have a Deathadder 3.5G that I got as a refurb. Been working perfectly fine. Their product quality can be hit and miss.

My Habu died the same way; it started to double click then the left/right click got stuck. Replaced it with a Mamba though I don't like it as much, it's oriented for both cabled and wireless usage. The Habu was a sick mouse. Anyway, I'd suggest the MX518. It's durable, can take a beating yet still work fine after years. I had it for a while and it wasn't much different from Razer palm-grip.

My DA is going strong for 2 years now, no problems, not even cosmetic ones. Maybe its just luck? Take a look at Logitech mice then.

I prefer fingertip-grip mouse. Even though DA was made for palm-grip users, I fingertip it lol.

The tried and true mice tend to be:
Microsoft: Wheel mouse optical, Intellimouse 1.1 & 3.0
Logitech: MX518, (mx300 is hard to find), G1
I hear people using these mice for many years and still going.

Also I hope you're using the blackwidow still even without 1 LED. Those tend to be easily replaceable anyway...

I'd recommend the Microsoft Sidewinder series. Although they're mostly palm-grip mice, I've had mine for about 2 years now and it's still going strong.

AFAIK all gaming-gear oriented manufacturers have quality issues here or there.
Logitech is the only brand that never failed on me.

Logitech mouse is the most durable in general. I always want my Logitech mouse broken then I can go to customer service and ask for a new one, but I know it never happens because it is Logitech.
Mx518s, old IE3.0's. IE 1.1a if you can get it.
Most others break a lot. Every single Razer mouse I've had has broken. New Microsoft products are generally junky.
