Sith Empire PC Build - Page 8

Oh do want!! especially the side panel, it's just... beatiful. Does the red light bleed bad from gaps, like the front odd bays and sides?

Thread Starter
You can see a very tiny line, about the thickness of a piece of paper, if you look straight on (which is rare) at the top of the front panel. It's not bleeding out, but if you look for it, you can see it. Other than that, no light coming out of weird places, there are a lot of angles. The front panel has a ton of light coming out of it, while the side has more of an eerie glow with the red LED's through red acrylic. It just looks really evil.

If I was to change something, the first would be to of gone with the silver nickel plated fittings instead of black. The nickel cooler parts look so good with the shine of the LED's inside coming through the red acrylic. I really should have went with silver nickel. It would really make it look a lot sharper. That's the biggest regret I have.

Reservoir is pulled out for filling

It works! All the parts are still working. I didn't break anything. All the wiring works. The WC is working and no leaks (so far, hope none appear).
Few issues I have.
Because I have to pull out the reservoir, I have to have hosing longer than I would like. I can't see a way around this.
I have to tidy up the wiring, it's just messy right now, too bulky. Just got excited and wanted to see if things were actually working, so that will come later.
Still have to attach the lighting. That will make a big difference.
Have to work on the front panel to get it to fit. Since powder coating, it no longer fits properly, so I'll have to do some careful work to get it right without damaging things.
But right now, just exhausted. Been up working on it a lot for the past few days, so going to take a break, hopefully get my SWTOR head start invite, and relax a bit before putting on the finishing touches. Finish it up by the 20th.

Can you take some pics of how it's not fitting after powder coating, I have a few ideas but want to see some pics before I throw idea forwad.

Y u no sneak a piece of hose from fillport to top of the case and fill using a funnel for example? If the fillport has regular threads, it's no biggie to put a bard or comp fitting on a piece of hose and attach it to the fillport for the filling, and after the loop is filled just unplug the fitting+hose and put a plug on the fillport.
