for higher end 6950s either the msi twin frozr III PE OC, or the sapphire toxic. both have a pretty good reputation for flashing to a 6970. and come from the manufacturer with competative performance. Frozrs will stay cooler though

I am thinking to buy the MSI GeForce GTX 570 732MHZ 1280MB 3.8GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI PCI-E Video or
MSI Radeon HD 6950 Twin Frozr II OC 810MHZ 2GB GDDR5 2XDVI 2x Mini DisplayPort HDMI PCI-E Video Card. Which 1 win XD

price for what you get, id go with the 6950, you get more for you money. possible flash upgrade, and 2 gb vram. plus the TF cools like a champ, which will give you more headroom for overclocking.

that is actually the highest rated 6950, outperforms reference 6970s. runs kinda warm, but price to performance its a beast. card is actually a reference 6970, it can use their waterblocks. has a very high flash rate to 6970.

edit: the toxic edition is regularly out of stock at newegg.com and highly sought after

that 6950 toxic 2b looks very nice..i'd recommend that ..however..if you want maximum punch for the money..consider 2 6790s in crossfire..i do believe it could be done for about $300..some guy on furmark's been ripping up the scores with a setup like that

Do not buy that cheap as non reference design 6950

Spend abit more and get a Twin frozr card , much , much better quality than that card you showed .

id take the 2gb 6950 over a 560ti any day , much better card imo .

Nothing wrong with that Sapphire HD 6950. Super quiet, runs pretty cool. Mine did not unlock, but lots have. However mine clocked very well at 975/1380 24/7 stable. MSI card is indeed better, but it all comes down to price. If costs are close then for sure get the MSI, if not...then the Dirt 3 6950 is a perfectly good choice.

Like my Galaxy GTX580 with the stock Arctic Cooling cooler, it clocks to 930/2275 @ 1.12v, a little worse than the Asus ROG GTX580 I had for a bit that did 940/2325 or so at the same voltage. Got the Galaxy card for under $400, Asus Matrix card goes for at least $125 more. Hardly a performance value there even though the Asus is the better built card.
