You shouldn'y be getting an average of 55 FPS with a single GTX 460 in battlefield 3, 1080p, maxed out.

You're doing something wrong tongue.gif

No worries! Open up after burner - settings - monitoring - and select whichever you want for OSD. smile.gif

He said a single card... which was why I was suspicious tongue.gif

No way a single 460 can max out BF3 at 55FPS. Especially not with that CPU...

He's prob referring to single player not multiplayer.
no way a 768mb card can max out bf3 even at 1080p.

I noticed B2K maps are more demanding than other BF3 maps. On Ultra with MSAA/AA off, I keep getting dips to 20s fps, so I have to set on high. It might be VRAM limitation since even on high with MSAA/AA off, it uses all of my VRAM.

Sudden dips in FPS are probably vRAM related, yes. BF3 happily uses more than 1GB. It uses about 1.8GB of my 2, but some of that is just 'because it can'.

My last rig had 2 460's in it overclocked to 850 on both cards, I couldn't run anything other than the high preset. AB showed roughly 1gb, sometimes less sometimes more, of VRAM usage in BF3. Op metro is the easiest map to run with mostly enclosed spaces and no vehicles and shouldn't be assumed the normal fps.
