True 4 pin fans

post #1 of 24
Thread Starter
Where can I buy true 4 pin case fans? Seems like most are 3 pin.

Thanks

Where are you located? DirectCanada carries some great fans like the CoolerMaster Blade Master which is 4 pin. I'm sure plenty of other places have that fan too. It's the one that comes stock on the CM212+

edit: this is it

Great thanks.

I'm as far from Canada as you can get, border of Mexico

Oh lol. Well in that case, Newegg is your friend
I'd love to recommend more stores, but living in Canada, I don't know many from the US lol

I guess by 4-Pin you mean PWM fans... Right?

If so:

Newegg: Here

You can also go to FrozenCPU and browse their PWM fan section, or any of the other computer HW eTailers out there (xoxide, crazyPC, svc, etc).

I personally buy my PWM fans from newark.com, but that's because I prefer my fans to be on the "beefy" side of things... 6K+ rpm, 250CFM and beyond...

Oh no Sr... I run these kinds of fans: They eat Kaze fans and spit out their guts before even spinning up to full speed.

That's:

2 x San Ace 9SB1212P1G01
2 x Nidec Servo G1238B12BBZP-00

All four fans are 120x120x38, 6k RPM, 260CFM... The difference between the two brands is the static pressure; the Nidecs are almost triple the San Ace on that department.
Also note the power rating on them...
San Ace -> 4A
Nidec -> 4.45A
These things are not to be plugged into your CPU Fan header, or you risk melting that part of the motherboard.
