Yeah. I'm looking for a full 104-key keyboard. And I haven't found a backlit Choc Pro with Red switches yet...
Thanks though.

Hahaha! Look at this:

It seems like a direct response to our bashing of Corsair and their dome/mechanical switch mixing. Excuses, excuses. You were too cheap to use two types of mechanical switches or even one type on the entire keyboard, Corsair.

I'm working on that now, actually. The Shine is released but nobody is selling them in North America yet. They're in very limited quantities over in Asia. The Red Switch version is even more limited. Sigh.

What do they mean "dampening"? Dampening is meant to remove oscillations from a spring. What are they on about?

....
Love how they came up with something like this. They really went deep with their explaination about the rubber keys choice but still, even if you try to belive them, why don't they explain the price of this keyboard? With that money I can buy a real mechanical not a hybrid thing like their board.

EDIT: Actually there is a thing that make me laugh even more. They keep saying that those keyboard are made for gaming and not to type so Corsair must think that every pc gamer should swap keyboard or use another pc when it comes to writing and browsing internet.

Wow, thanks for the heads-up about the rubber keys. I was really considering buying one too. For shame, Corsair...

Not at all. It's not impossible to type on cherry reds - I do it every day with my K60. But for my home gaming PC, where I spend the majority of my time gaming, Cherry Reds are much preferable due to their lighter touch. If I spent the majority of time typing (like my work PC), I'd want a different switch.

And as far as anybody saying that we're trying to lie to customers or something - that's just insulting. We're the ones who came out and told everyone what we did and why we did it. If you don't agree with that, I completely understand. We're all allowed to have our own opinions - but we're not trying to mislead anybody. We are completely up front about what decisions we made and why we made them.

I understand if you don't want to buy our products because you would prefer full mechanical or something (though I disagree with its necessity - I can understand why you might feel differently), we aren't lying to anybody.

I can see where George is coming from. What if they never mentioned it and then once people got it found out then? At least you know and can make an informed decision if you were considering a K60 or K90.
