Only downside is it looks like arse, being designed as a POS keyboard.
The looks are not that horrible, but the placement of the macro keys is definitely not the best for gaming.
And would the macro work under windows7? If so that would be the only ps/2 keyboard with macros.

? SPOS wasn't a review unit, those were never sent out for review at all. I traded my review sample of the U9BL for it a year or two ago though.

The idea is you hit the buttons with your right thumb. That's what I did at least.

The macros do work in Windows 7, or any OS, since it's hardware based.

Note that the USB version of the 8200 doesn't have NKRO and has software macros. The PS/2 version is the good one.

anyone know if the keycaps are standard? Can they be replaced with standard cherry keycaps?
Most of them should yes, but we have no idea about the rubber dome switches. If they're a typical rubber dome over membrane design, no. If they're sliders over rubber domes... possibly.

if you still have it in two weeks, I will gladly buy it. Or I'll trade you for a filco with black switches

They released a picture of the board with no key caps, and they are regular rubber domes. So, no custom key caps there.
