Thats a tough call without knowing the Motherboard model, my guess based on the year the systems ran, I would say ddr2, but it may be ddr. Try and find a MB model and make. It will likely be print somewhere on the board.

On a related and somewhat unrelated note. I found a Dual CPU socket 462 motherboard on ebay, looks like a fun mb to play with, seeing as these parts are cheap and considered old and useless by todays standards.

Edit:After looking at socket 462 motherboards on ebay, all seem to be running DDR1. Also they all look like they cap off at 3GB or near

So you'll need DDR1 Ram, a 20 pin PSU and I believe those are PCI slots. Also i think most aftermarket psu are 20 or 24 pin both can be used. I have a OCZ600SXS PSU and you can use 20 pins or 24 pins. Now all you need is a decent PCI Graphics card.

Edit: Oh buckaroo is that Black port an AGP? I have an old 128 radeon saffire 9250 AGP sitting in my closet, pulled out of my first P4 Prescott tower that cooked itself to death

Ewww, VIA chipset tongue.gif. For a fun time you gotta get a NF2 chipset biggrin.gif. Socket A takes DDR1 (184 pin) and usually has 3 slots, though I have a gigabyte board that has 4. Just about any psu will work. You don't need much, just like a good 200-300W. You will need a AGP or PCI (not express) gpu.
