I did
About a year ago I decided I wanted to build an HTPC so I didn't have to keep my Gaming (main) computer in the living room. I didn't want to spend a lot, so I reused a bunch of parts I had lying around, including a $25 cheapo case I bought from newegg years before. I decided to spruce it up a bit with some stickers and a smoked plexi window, and the end result is what you see here.
I spent maybe $250 in new parts (AMD processor, RAM, heatsink, PSU) about $20 for the stickerbomb book, and another $20 for the plexi and u-channel stuff (rubber trim to cover the sharp edges of the hole I cut in the side). Everything else I had lying around from old builds.
I leave it on all day every day and the CPU idles in the low 30's. AMD + Blue Orb = cool and quiet
Comments and criticism welcome
ON TO THE PICS!!!
Before I cut the window
