FINALLY stepping out of the Stone age

Thread Starter

so got motivated by my local Computer Shop to finally upgrade from:

Sony VAIO PCV-RZ44G

to:
Asus Essentio CG5270
http://www.asus.com/Desktop/Gaming/Essentio_CG5270/

only thing is, it constantly reboots itself (Windows 7) and hoping its Software and not Hardware as many hours have been spent already...recovery disks are on their way from ASUS and if anything, guy will reinstall Windows 7 for me

anyhow, i liked it a lot because Case is big, and Ram goes up to 16GB

main question is, what else can i do to make this an Entertainment/Media Center, i'm an XBox Gamer but would like to watch 450p and up files and multi-task the heck out of it

I can only image He means play 480p movies files.
Alternatively he may want to watch 450 episodes of Magnum P.I. on his xbox from his computer.

But that would practically be Standard Definition?
Well, he did say "450pi and up" so I'm assuming he means 480p-720p-1080p files.
