Windows 7 x86 shows more ram than installed

Under Windows 7 Pro x86 my ram usage shows 4gb installed and 1gb usable under system. The task manager shows this:

This is strange, because I only have 1gb of ram installed in the system. I have 2x 512mb sticks running in dual channel.

System info:
P4 3.0E
1gb ram (2x 512mb 400)
Asus EAH3450 512mb
Abit VT7 Mobo

Any reasoning behind this?

Hmm.... Maybe the extra memory is Page File? Im not too sure about this one.

It's possible it's just a Windows glitch. Restart and re-check.

I figured it was page file at first, but its only using 2gb for the page file so 2gb PF + 1gb physical ram = 3gb.

On my other PC (sig rig) it shows 2gb exactly and the task manager shows the same, yet it has 4gb of page file.

E-Peen, I've tried restarting it and removing any overclocks. Same result tho.
