Unlocking My 555BE Problems

Hello everyone.I got a phenom II 555 which i was said that it can unlock to quad.I tried in my mobo Gigabyte 880GA-UD3 which i must say that it hasn't the best unlocking ACC menu and i say that cause first you must get to bios and enable unlocking, second you re enter to see the 4 cores and to enable all and third it doesn't have any other option like putting in a core -2 or something.Well the problem is when i open all cores i can't boot a Vista.I disable 4rth core and i can boot with three cores but if i stress the pc by trying play a game or encode a video etc i get blue screen and restart. This is surely caused by third core as when i am running it as dual cores no problem at all.The guy said on ASUS board it was fine and suggested to change values like voltage to get it stable.I don't know what to change.Any suggestions? What do you believe?Propably bad cpu?I had a 550 that unlocked on any mobo very easy and never got blue screen..

Sounds like you need more voltage, enter the bios and unlock the cores and then up the voltage a bit from stock. Also what is the stock voltage?

Since the cpu's they say can unlock are normally say quad cores gone bad, what this likely means is that its a bad quad and was sold as a dual.

Fill out your specs btw as im not the best to talk to you about this, Im sure there are heaps of people here that can point you in the right direction

1.424 is the stock voltage and tried 1.450 and 1.475.I didn't try further as i am afraid hurt the cpu.Nothing changed..I have done a little overclock by changing multiplier and easily got 3.6 and surely goes up.I have a good cooler and not stock one.The guy mentioned something like trying lower voltage than increasing. Is that by any chance to be correct?

Sounds like you won't be able unlock that cpu and have it be stable

I took it a little seriously and tried some things in order to make this cpu run better or..I took the voltage 1.520V and the multiplier x19 and also enabled only third core.Booted up as 3core at 3.8 and so far al good.I run prime to see what will happens. The max TDP has gone at 160W is that ok? I know much about pc but really never tried oc and unlocks..Still prime runs fine.If it stays there i won't be dissapointed..
