$1200 gaming PC build - Page 15

Depends on what you are looking to play.

The 570 is pretty weak and can't do much. I would recommend a 580 or 6970.

I play mostly mmorpgs so they're not usually graphically as intense as say BF3 or the like. So I think the 6950 should be good enough for now?

instead of tx750 how about this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139021

tx750 "V2" cost less than the old version.....

and instead of lanboy this ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...carbide%20400r

Corsair new released case... I think it just looks sick. You don't need a lanboy unless u're planning to put like 10 fans on ur case.

Thanks for the concern about money and your opinions, though I will have to say no to both of them and here's why.

I know that is cheaper but the reason I'm getting the TX750M is because it's semi-modular and I like that because it makes things a little cleaner.

As for the case, I do plan on putting the other 10 fans in it (probably for fun. lol) and I really don't like the look of that case. I considered it before but I didn't really care for it. =/ But thank you for taking the time to come to my thread and make suggestions anyway. =]

Is there anything else you'd care to recommend? I am stuck on the lanboy air and it's 10 extra fan mounts but I also just love the look of it. I have yet to really find another case that draws me to it like this one does. but by all means keep trying to sway me from it, I accept and consider all ideas. So you're not wasting your time, I assure you.

alright that's fair enough. modular is good that's for sure, i didn't see that it's the 750m. THat was my bad, if i knew it was modular i'd totally say yes to that. The last thing i'd like to recommand is getting a SSD but i guess it's out of your budget. Crucial m4 64GB is the one i'd recommand, it's ur choice.

Yeah its a little out of budget. I was thinking of getting an SSD and a Bluray drive later on but for now I just wanna get this think built. Lol I will probably end up getting a 64gb ssd like the one you suggested because I think anything higher than that is probably not needed.

Now that AMD's new processors Re finally released are they worth my time? I have read a few placed that they are kind of disappointing so im really not sire wether or not to look into one like maybe the 8120?
Nope, not worth your time, stick with the 2500K rig you set up.

Thank's I thought that too. I heard it was pretty disappointing so i guess Sandy and Ivy bridge will be at the top for a while. When does Ivy bridge even come out?
Rumors say next year, probably quarter 2. Good news is, your board should support it if you choose to upgrade.
