$160 for a case seems too much for a $1200 build, if all you are going for is looks then by all means get it but remember it sits on your desk all day blowing air around. You can get an $80-$100 case that will do the job just fine.

The D14 will defiantly keep your CPU cool but now you’re only running a 560TI at this point so why bother with a D-14? People run 560TI and 570 SLI at 4.5GHZ all the time. With that video card there will be negligible difference between 4.5ghz and 5ghz and the 212+ can maintain good temps at 4.7ghz with proper case airflow which my $80 case has.

Get a nice $100 case and the 212+ and that should net you around $120 to put towards a more powerful GPU.

I don’t mean to keep hounding you on it but you can make your system a little more future proof if you juggle your money around a little differently.
If you can suggest a better case that is cheap bit at least looks good feel free to suggest something. =]

As for the D14, I personally wouldn't get one. I have one, and I had to remove the bottom clips from my fans because they touched the graphics card below it. I ultimately switched it back out for my TX3 simply because it was just too much in the way. It is flipping huge.

I would just get a 212+, it will be plenty for now.
I will probably go back to the 212+ of course there's also a 212 evo. Is that any better or worse than the plus?

The other things are mostly cheaper and easier to aquire and upgrade later.
I will try to do that though id really like something that at least looks good sitting around. I don't want a plain jane case. Lol im very picky sometimes.

For a case how would my first choice of the Anted 902 V3 work for a cheaper case?

The only difference I can tell between the 212 Evo and the 212+ is the fan... I'd go with whichever one was cheaper if it were me.

The CM Storm Scout Is a pretty good case. That Antec to me looks a little tacky, but that just my opinion.

Thinking of running it like this, so I'm still in the $1100 range but I also get the case I really want. =] So how does it look? I didn't know if I should get a 1gb or 2gb card so I went with 1 for now. Is that ok running at 1920x1080?

Case: Antec Lanboy air Red Black/Red | $159.99

PSU: SILVERSTONE Strider Plus ST75F-P 750w | $129.99

MoBo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 | $124.99

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K | $219.99

HSF: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO | $34.99

GPU: MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk | $264.99

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600MHz (Red) | $51.99

HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200 RPM | $59.99

ODD: LITE-ON iHAS-324 | $20.99

Total with shipping and taxes $1162.76

for the case save the dough and get the Storm Scout. Very nice and doesnt look really tacky like most of the Antecs.
Go with the 2Gb card for current games.

Other than that I say it looks good.
OR!!!
go with a 922.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119197

If your stuck on getting a pricey case like that lanboy, up to a 932 or hafx. Much better choice, better cooling and easier maintanance from dust and such.

the coolermaster cm 690 is an awesome case.

Meh I am not a fan of the CM Storm Scout. It's an Ok looking case but it's not really my thing. I just love the modular design of the Lanboy air, even if it is considered "tacky". lol I will keep the Scout in mind though and see if it grows on me. I will aosl go for the 2GB card.

Or I will stick with the HAF 932.
