2500k not adjusting vcore

So, ever since I built my system a while back, everything has been fine with what I've thrown at it, until a couple days ago.

Basically what happens is that the cpu clocks down to 16x multiplier, but the vcore stays at my 4.8ghz voltage 24/7 (1.296) and varies between 1.25 and 1.3, but usually it would go below 1.

I've tried with all kinds of EPU settings, both disabling and enabling in bios, and I'm pretty sure I've double checked everything.

Is there some magic setting I'm missing here?

if you set a manual voltage, that is how it works. You can set an offset voltage to have it drop at idle.

Thing is, I've always set the voltage to manual, and yet it dropped to around ~0.98 when idling, if I set my voltage to offset, what should I set it at? Never played around to it (my chip runs on low voltage).

edit: It might've been a bug with my board that did it, who knows, I just know the voltage was always set to manual and yet vcore dropped.

You are going to have to figure out the offset on your own, as it is different for every chip. Basically it is the difference between idle and load voltage, figured around the stock VID. for mine @4.6ghz, I use +0.055 and that gets me to 1.33v at full load, and .0900v at idle. Hope this helps.

reset stock multiplier...reboot..raise offset voltage..reboot..see what voltage it is..it's always better to go a little higher than lower..

I learnt not to trust CPU-Z's vcore statement. My CPU-Z says that my vcore is 1.026 when i run a clock speed of 4,2GHz

Okay so after some adjustments, I ended up setting offset to 0.040v, with load line calibration at medium, so the voltage wouldn't sky rocket above what's needed, these are the results:
