Prime95: Hardware failure detected?

Thread Starter
I did some searching on OCN, and apparently this is related to a memory error. This is what I get:

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.498046875, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.

This happens on my 3rd core after 10 minutes of running a Prime95 blend. Could it really be a RAM issue? My RAM is at stock voltage and speeds, 1.5V, 9-9-9-24, 1600MHz. Could it be that the CPU is not receiving enough power?

The strange thing is, I ran Intel Burn Test on maximum and I get no errors at all. Does that test test RAM as well?

I have my overclock specs below:

Do you get that error while running Prime at stock?

Nope. Just when overclocked.

change the vrm frequency to manual and set value to 350 and try increasing the vccio a little to 1.1v.

You can also set the cpu current to 130%, it's perfectly safe as your overclocking you don't want the mobo restricting your overclocks.

It means that the system is not stable (most likely cpu).
