Blocks for Non-Ref 6950's

Thread Starter
I just picked up 2 more Sapphire 6950 2gb (the Dirt 3 edition) cards to use in tri-fire to drive my new Eyefinity setup, and I'm concerned that they'll get hot if they're packed together, especially if I want to OC them or unlock them to 6970's.

I want to look into a water-cooling setup, but I have two problems:

1) My case might not have a lot of room for the radiators for all these
2) My 6950's are non-reference, and I'm not sure if any water blocks are compatible with them. Are there any universal GPU water blocks I can get?

Thanks for your help!

There are not any full cover blocks compatible with that card.
However you can go universal with swiftech or ek blocks.

How big of a rad do you think I need for these? And could I put my CPU and 3 GPU's on one loop or would that be too much?

My case has a 2 x 180mm mount at the bottom, if they make rads that size

Not so fast...

6870 waterblocks fit the revised pcb. I believe Aqua's fit the best since they redesigned their 6870 block for the slight clearance issue with revised 6950 pcbs.

Well, it is possible but I can't tell if other blocks will also work.

I checked CoolingConfigurator.com for my specific card, and there are no full cover blocks for it.. so if I got a universal block, I could have to get passive cooling for the memory right?
