Not really, for gaming there are 2 major cases where you would far superior performance than AMD currently provides;

- A single GPU setup with an AMD PhII will usually not be CPU-bottlenecked with a game at 1080p, but multi-GPU setups surely will be bottlenecked by an AMD CPU.

- If you have Intel CPUs, you need to upgrade less, since they offer better performance that will last longer. So while an AMD chip might be good (avoid CPU bottlenecks) for 2-3 GPU generations, an Intel one is good for 4-5.
Not to mention that a chip like the i5 2500k is about the same price as a 1090T.

Shows how well the PII or any 4 core can do when the game is well threaded.
Of course there is going to be a much larger chance for a Phenom II to bottleneck on a game that uses 1 or 2 threads because of it's weaker PPC.

If SC2 used four threads instead of two, the bottleneck wouldn't be so prevalent until you added more GPU power.

Well, it's using the extension at least.

It's MSI Afterburner. You have to enable the OSD server and then check off what you want to view.

I read the thread. It made me laugh, the intel users are so funny.

How is that, sir ? I get around 45 - 50 Fps with my 570. Its at stock clocks, so unless you have done some crazy overclocking, i dont see where you have gotten that extra FPS. Also, your ultra = max ?

6% is nothing. That only 3fps which is nothing to brag about with $500 GPUs.
